Running Polls on 𝕏 Communities

The strategy is to find 𝕏 communities that are relevant to your niche and run simple polls in these communities to gather information.

Let’s take a look at a few examples:

1. Testing To See If Your Target Audience Exists On The Community

‍

In this example, my target audience is entrepreneurs who have not yet launched their product.

Even with relatively low engagement, this simple poll still got 40 responses.

Easily validating that there was a large segment of my target audience in the community.

2. Validating a Problem

‍

Here, I’m trying to find out which of my target audience’s problems are the most pressing for them right now.

With 46 responses, I can clearly see that getting their first customers is the problem I should be creating solutions for.

I can also note that these other two problems are still worth working on, but should be a lower priority.

4. Testing Possible Solutions

‍

In this example, even with only 8 votes, there is a clear answer on which solution would attract the most interest from my target audience.

I can also see that the “Coaching” option has zero votes - pretty clear that folks aren’t looking for this.

4. Validating Lead Magnet Ideas

‍

Similarly, this poll only got about 9 votes, but still clearly shows which lead magnet idea generates the most interest.

With this information, I can be confident in building this lead magnet, and I can also start to piece together a bigger picture of what my audience is looking for.
